New Hampshire - Part Three - Thomas

Thomas is such a sweet little fellow. He can't quite decide whether he'd like to grow up or stay a baby.

He loves to play dress-up.

He loves to smile for the camera.

Did I mention that he loves to smile for the camera?

He loves to play at the park.

And when it's all said and done he'll still fall asleep anywhere.

New Hampshire - Part Two - ANNA

I had way too much fun with this little girl. She is delightful. Kate loved to watch Anna move, and Anna can move!

If ever I had Kate on my lap Anna was soon to come and this was often my view of Anna. In both the picture above and below you can see my knee. She would stand up by my knee and wait to be picked up to ensure access to Kate.

This picture was taken at tee ball practice and has to be my favourite picture! She's just so much fun!

And given a chair she's a pretty good little picture poser.

New Hampshire - Part One - THE FLIGHTS

May 20, waiting in Toronto to board. I was pretty nervous about the entire experience. It was however just great. Kate was an angel on the flight.

In Manchester, New Hampshire on the 30th. This is our plane getting ready for us to board.

This is the inside of the plane. I was sitting in the second last row, so you can see it's rather small. On the flight down there were six passengers in total (including Kate). On the trip home there were six of us, including Kate and the pilot and co-pilot.

This is us before take-off in Manchester. Kate was great. Two hour flights are the perfect length.

Playing is tiring!

Kate was so obviously tired but just wouldn't go to sleep. I put her down to play and out she went!

Kate is Four Months Old

Today was a fun day. This morning Kate and I did our usual things when we woke up, lots of smiling and we read some books. We were going to Newmarket for noon to meet friends so I really wanted to take Kate's four month picture before we left. However I waited too long. The picture below was taken about two seconds before she started crying and about two minutes before she fell asleep.

This is a picture of Kate and Ashtyn. Ashtyn was born 20 days after Kate. Her Mom, Catharine and I teach at the same school. I don't have a good photo of both of them looking at me but I thought this one was cute because Kate is holding Ashtyn's hand.

It was a very hot muggy day today and when we got home from our walk we both got changed into something cooler before we went on another walk to pick up the mail. Kate now has a passport! New Hampshire here we come!

A Tea Party

Kate and I attended High Tea at Sarit's house. The occasion was a baby shower for my sweet friend Zorana. Zorana and I have known each other since grade two. It's funny to me that we're both having our first babies in the same year. Sarit threw a lovely party, the food was so yummy. And best of all Kate slept through the eating part and then was a perfect doll.

This is Zorana holding Kate. I think Kate is trying to tell the baby to come out and play. That or she's trying to eat Zorana's finger.

And here is Kate with her Mama.

The Exer-Saucer

Looking slightly stunned.

Trying to get at those blasted chickens!

And the melt your heart smile... exer-saucer = good times, for up to 10 minutes. (Auntie Wendy, this is one of the shirts and the other pair of pants.)
