the green man that came to stay...

It's February, but not for much longer. It is a blah sort of time. In the midst of the blah we had overnight guests last weekend, but one of them didn't want to leave. Laura and Keenan were able to spend sometime in the temple and Ken was able to spend sometime with William. I spent time with the couch - unfortunately I'm still spending time with the couch as the sore throat has turned into a cough and a cold! However, we made an interesting discovery after the Radcliffe's left. We're not sure what to call him, or where to put him, perhaps he might enjoy life atop the cd stand with another plastic toy, or perhaps he would enjoy life as a character in a story for William.

The point of this ridiculous entry - I meant to get the camera out last weekend and take pictures of the visit but instead I'm left with a little green man.

Fleming College Here We Come!

Just before I was about to leave this morning Ken came out of the office and said "there's something you should read". I assumed it was some silly email forward. When I sat down in front of the computer there was an acceptance letter for Ken. He applied to the GIS (geographic information systems) post degree program at Fleming College in Lindsay and was accepted! The program starts in September and runs through August 2008. For more details about what GIS entails besides - maps and computers - you'll have to speak to Ken.

The pictures were taken at the college open house we went to on Saturday, November 18. I took them thinking that if this was where Ken was going to go to school they would be fun to post on the blog. (This is fun!) The Frost Campus is so tiny compared to the city university that the University of Toronto is. The pictures of Ken and the trees were taken in the parking lot - pine trees and a parking lot with free parking for the open house, what a concept.

So the next chapter of Ken and Wendy has a title heading. Now we just need to figure out the details!

This is the main building - well almost the only building.

A new path - okay perhaps it's too obvious but I like it.
