A Saturday in Two Parts

Part One - Grandma and CJ

Now that it's getting warmer we can meet up outside and have little visits. We were supposed to meet up at Rotary Park but it was an absolute zoo, so after conferring with the girls we decided to meet up at Audley Park.

The girls and I had fun walking up and down one of the big hills. CJ and Mom arrived when we were at the top of the hill. I didn't really get any good pictures with Mom or CJ, but I did get some cute pics of the girls.

Part Two
Going on a walk with my love. Dating these days is going on walks in the neighbourhood. I love where we live!

St. Patrick's Day

I finally got St. Patrick's Day shirts for all of us (thank you Kay/Crafty Pleasures and Old Navy). This year is different of course because it isn't March Break, it's school, regular school! So the girls were all decked out in green. After school it was really beautiful so I picked the girls up and asked where they'd like to take pictures. We agreed to take pictures by the water treatment plant. And take pictures we did. We all had fun exploring, walking around and posing. I love it when a five minute photo session turns into 45 minutes!

An Outdoor Saturday

While our indoor fun options continue to be non-existent, getting the girls outside for fun, is sometimes possible. Today, it was possible!

We went Duffin's Creek and found Horsey! There was a very, very happy reunion! The girls didn't love the walk today. I wanted to walk to the river, but that didn't happen. I took what I could get, even if it was a little whiney. We left the house way too late, so you get what you get I guess.

Saying goodbye however, not so much. Fiona did not want to leave Horsey behind, but Horsey is HUGE. SO SO HUGE! So Horsey needed to stay behind, and Fiona protested loud and long.
After we went to Myles Park - Fiona practiced the monkey bars. She did great!

And the last fun of the day, laundry notes in pockets. The love between Fiona and Alice is funny. They love each other fiercely, but sometimes Alice is less effusive!
