The best Halloween's are the ones when the weather cooperates. Thankfully the weather worked out beautifully. It wasn't too cold and it wasn't wet. It really was perfect trick-or-treating weather.
Before dinner Kate and I inspected the Halloween decorations.
After dinner we took some pictures outside and then Ken took Kate up and down our street and I stayed home to hand out candy with Alice. Kate had fun getting candy, and Alice loved going to the door to meet all the kids!
And to end a very fun Halloween, Antoinette and her cute kids came to visit us. Sadly I didn't get a picture of Camden and Antoinette, but at least I got a picture of Makenna and Abigail. Kate loves her second family!

HALLOWEEN! (Part One - Daytime fun)
Last year Antoinette took Kate, Marisol and her son Camden to the Cookstown Outlet mall to go trick or treating at the stores.
This year Michelle and I took Kate, Marisol, Alice and Amelie. Antoinette was going to come too but last minute packing too precedence! (Have fun in Florida!)
I forgot my camera so thank you Michelle for taking pictures. It was funny to make note of the differences between Marisol and Kate. Michelle had to convince Marisol to put on her costume and go to the Mall. Kate on the other hand was totally excited to put on her costume and go to the Mall. It was a different story once we got down to business. Marisol seemed to get more and more excited with each new store and each new candy. Kate on the other hand looked like she was all business. They are such cute girls. It will be interesting to see how their friendship evolves over time.
After our trip to the mall we went to Sunset Grill to have breakfast for lunch in Alliston, yum! Ken met us there and we had a lovely lunch. Next it was nap time to gear up for Halloween part two - nighttime!

Pumpkin Carving
Tonight we scooped the guts out of the pumpkins and Ken carved one. I can't remember the last time I carved a pumpkin and this year I decided it was time to carve again! But I ran out of steam, so I'll carve it tomorrow...
Kate helped do some of the scooping and Alice had fun being part of it all.
Kate didn't want to help her Dad scoop his, she wanted to do glue. (as she calls it)
And Alice finally figured out how to pull herself up on the upstairs couch. If she isn't an early walker, I'll be surprised!
We're getting very excited for Halloween tomorrow!

Family Pictures and a Plumb Party
I was so excited earlier this week when I received a message from the photographer (our missed session photographer) that she could meet us today. We met up at the same location at 1:30 in the afternoon and had an awesome time taking pictures. I can't wait to see the pictures!
After a quick trip up to Barrie we made our way back to Tottenham via Bradford enroute to Richmond Hill for a PLUMB PARTY! The last time the Plumbs had a Halloween Party I was pregnant with Kate.
The only thing sadder than our costumes was talking to someone at the party who didn't notice that I was pregnant... ouch!
Fast forward three years and this is us!
And yes we are Hook, Tinkerbell, Peter Pan and the Crocodile. I made my costume and Kate's cape. I was pretty proud of how cute we looked!
The party was fun and just about everyone there was in costume! We love you Plumbs!

A beautiful fall day
Thank goodness for some sunshine. After church we came in for a quick bite, changed clothes and went for a lovely walk down by the pond, across from the conservation area. We stopped along the way to enjoy the leaves, rocks, water, dirt, tracks... you see everything when you walk with a two year old.

Orangeville Farmer's Market-Halloween Fun
We haven't been to the Farmer's Market much this season but after going to the last day of market last year, we wanted to make sure we didn't miss it this year. It was a cold day and I wished I'd put a few more layers on Kate, but I think I was more upset about it than she was!
Kate enjoyed trick-or-treating at the stores along Broadway.
Alice enjoyed the festivities from her stroller.
Pony rides are always a favourite.
Kate liked the scarecrow...
... but she LOVED the hay-bale spider!
Our cute little giraffe had a fun day.
