The Photos that WON'T be Sent in the Christmas Card
I'm thinking that next year we hire a photographer and get some real family photos... the tripod might just have to wait in the closet for a few years...

Kate is 23 Months Old
I think I finally feel satisfied and can let go of the month to month documentation! Of course there will still be lots of pictures of Kate on the blog but no more monthly poses. (Birthdays will of course still be documented so there might be a couch involved!) At least I think I'm ready to let go! In any case, here is the sweet slightly crazy almost two year old!
She certainly doesn't look like a baby anymore!

Santa Claus Parade - Tottenham
There have been many parades since we've moved here and it just seems that everytime there is a parade we have a conflict. After missing the third parade I was beginning to think we'd never see a parade in Tottenham, but low and behold we made an effort not to have a conflict and we actually made it to the Santa Claus Parade. We took lots of pictures - way too many in fact - of the floats. Ken and I were both quite impressed by the number of floats considering how small Tottenham is. Go Tottenham! Ken watched the whole parade and Kate and I watched most of it. Sadly Kate kind of lost it before the end of the parade and the two of us walked home early. It will be interesting to see if I bother trying to instill excitement for Santa in her for next year's parade.

Dad - Hip Surgery
Dad has been struggling for ages now. His ability to walk has diminished to the point that he needs a walker and can hardly stand up straight. He had hip replacement surgery today at York Central Hospital. I saw him afterward and he was doing well. He was cheerful and thankfully (morphine pump) wasn't in any pain. Here's to hoping he's out of the hospital and home soon.

Rachael's Blessing Day
Now that we live in Tottenham, we must remember that it takes about an hour and a half to get to Hamilton... unless you don't have an hour and a half so you drive really fast instead, feel slightly panicked but make it in the nick of time... EEK!
We drove to Hamilton to spend the day with some of Ken's family. Three of his four sisters live in and around Hamilton. Lisa and Ken's newest addition Rachael was blessed in church. Rachael's blessing was really sweet. I don't remember what was said anymore but I do remember thinking that Rachael has some wonderful blessings in store. After church we went to Lisa and Ken's and enjoyed good food and we had some time to visit, and take pictures of course!

A Fun Day with Friends at the St. Lawrence Market
Ken and I enjoy trips to the St. Lawrence market - it isn't quite as much fun with a stroller, but we still enjoy going! For this trip we were able to coordinate with our friends, YAY! While I didn't actually take any pictures inside the market the fun lunch we had afterward made for some fun photo opportunities.

Deciding to hold hands instead.
