Daddy's Girl

The top picture was taken on Saturday - moving day. It was a very long day for Ken. He picked up the van at 7:30 a.m. in Thornhill and came back to my parents house. He and Andrew loaded up a huge pile of boxes - storage days at Mom and Dad's are over!! Then they drove to Whitby where they were met by two missionaries from our church. The four of them emptied our storage unit onto the truck. Andrew and Ken proceeded on to Tottenham where they were met by Ken's sister Maureen, her husband Dan and two of their kids Meagan and Braden, and the Elder's quorum president from Newmarket ward - Mehdi Kazzazy. Maureen and her crew stayed at the house after the truck was unloaded to unpack somethings. Ken and Andrew mean while returned the truck to Thornhill.

While all of that was going on Kate and I were at my parents house. I was organizing the rest of our belongings and my Mom went out to do grocery shopping for us. After the groceries Kate and I and my Mom and Dad piled in the minivan to head to Tottenham. We passed Ken and Andrew on the highway.

Kate and I and the groceries were dropped off and my Mom and Dad had to turn around right away because Andrew had left the keys to Ken's car in Tottenham. Maureen and family stayed for a few more hours and then they went home. After Ken got his keys back he was able to return the truck, load up his car, buy a tv and come home to me and Kate. Can you say LONG DAY! Thank you so much to everyone that helped out - it was truly a team effort!

The bottom picture was taken on the 15th. Kate is wearing the bracelet that Ken wore when he was a baby.

And finally, seeing as it's Ken's birthday today, Happy Birthday Ken!
