A Wedding

Going to a temple wedding is special, very special.  It's even more special when the person getting married is someone you've watched grow up from a little person into an amazing adult.
Pre-dinner picture taking with my little ladies!
 Sacha and Nathan
Every table had a cute name and an even cuter story to go with it.
Sadly the two little people I was travelling with prohibited me from taking anymore photos... or enjoying all of the wedding festivities.  HOWEVER, I was able to be there in the temple and that was so important to me and so special!

Stealing Kisses

This was the scene after I made a trip to the water closet and left Kate alone...

Kate - "I go to mall."

Kate loves the mall and the toy store.  She loves Upper Canada Mall in Newmarket - because of the rides and children's play area.  AND she loves the toy store because she can look at so many fun toys and try out the cars.  This is her favourite car.

(You'd never know this was the 10th anniversary of my school because I didn't take any pictures... just a picture of my kid in the toy store.)

Adventures in Walking!

What to notice about this picture... the swing that's out again, the new (to us) chair and desk that were purchased at the "toot'n'holler", the stroller covered in black mould waiting for the bulky garbage pick-up, AND the child in the window.  We bought a step stool when Alice was born so Kate could climb up to things and it has become permanently located in the window.  This is where you can find Kate in the morning waving goodbye to dad, and in the evening, waving hello!
Today we went on a walk.  It was getting later in the afternoon and Kate hadn't wanted to nap and we were out and Kate just wanted to keep walking, so we kept walking.  I thought that since she was in such a walking mood we would walk to Antoinette's house.  We were maybe another 10 minutes from her house when Kate just wouldn't wake any more.  That's when I should have turned around... but it took me another 5 minutes to realize that Kate was falling asleep.  That's when the walk took a turn for the ridiculous.  I had Kate dead asleep on my shoulder and Alice in the stroller.  I wasn't sure how I was going to make it home but seeing as I had no options I just kept walking.  I stopped to adjust a few times.  When I got home I just laid Kate out on the couch.

Alice is Ten Weeks New!

We began the day with some photo taking...

Then I took more pictures because Kate crawled up beside Alice to cuddle while I was drying my hair, too cute.
My two favourites from the ten week portrait sitting...
When Ken got home we went to vote, and then to the park.

The tunnel... this takes us under the railway tracks to the park.
