Kate's New Toy

We made a trip to "Once Upon A Child" and Kate is now the proud recipient of a tigger bouncer. She has been dangling this morning but as yet hasn't figured out the bouncing. AND last night she said "ba". So far the only consonant was "g". All very exciting! Are we new parents or what!

Ken's Work

What does it take for Ken to make an appearance in the blog... Front Page News!! I do try to include the occasional picture of Kate and her Dad but this post is just about Ken. He has been working for the Town of New Tecumseth for six months now. This job has been such a blessing. He loves what he's doing - when he isn't frustrated by some code (you don't have to know what that means, just nod and say aha) and he works with some lovely people. It was a fun surprise to see some of Ken's work on the front page of the local newspaper. He made the maps that accompany the article. Yay Ken! (If you click any where on the picture it will enlarge)

New Hampshire - the final entry

We left on the 20th of May and returned on the 30th. I was so nervous about going for ten days. Kate adjusted pretty quickly to all of her cousins and their noise. We had a really great visit. I'm so thankful to have such a wonderful sister. She is such an example to me. Kate had such a great time with her cousins, except of course for the occasional bump to the head. Isaac, Joseph, Thomas and Anna are such wonderful little people!

New Hampshire - Part Six - The Cutest Girls in the World!

Kate and Anna... the story continues!

New Hampshire - Part Five - Isaac

We're cool even in pajamas!

Taking the role of big brother very seriously.

Isaac loves his cousin Kate.

Isaac, I can't believe that I didn't take one picture of you alone! I can't believe you're almost nine. I can't believe you've almost finished grade three. And I'm so impressed by what thoughtful creative piano player you are.

New Hampshire - Part Four - Joey

JOEY! He loves to pose for pictures and make videos.

He loves to play tee ball. This is the ready position.

He loves to play at the park.

And after all of that he likes to curl up for a nap.
